There's something on my hand and it's a bit itchy.

I discovered this while scratching my itchy palm on my way to work a while ago.
It has a slightly brown, bumpy feel.
It doesn't feel like I've been bitten by anything, but it looks like eczema.
It's not that itchy, but it's still bothersome.
I'm thinking of waiting a day or two and if it keeps happening, I'll visit a dermatologist.
I'm confused because something like this happened all of a sudden.
What is this?
