How many laser hair treatments are needed to achieve permanent hair removal?
Managing my hair with shaving or waxing every time is too much of a hassle, and I frequently experience skin problems, so I am planning to try laser hair removal. Looking at clinic advertisements and reviews, I see that 5 or 10-session packages are commonly offered. I am wondering if it is truly possible to achieve permanent hair removal—where hair never grows back—with just 5 to 10 sessions, as the hair follicles are completely destroyed.
It seems the number of treatments required varies significantly depending on individual hair thickness, density, and the area treated (philtrum, beard, underarms, arms and legs, etc.). I would like to know how many sessions are typically needed to see noticeable results that eliminate the need to shave daily. I would also appreciate it if you could share reviews and advice from those with actual treatment experience. I am curious to know if the number of sessions required for permanent hair removal or the duration of the results differs significantly depending on the type of laser equipment used.
