I'm thinking about seeing a dermatologist because of my recurring skin problems these days.
Lately, my skin has been constantly changing, which is really bothering me. It's not like it suddenly flares up, but once I get a breakout, it doesn't go away easily and often leaves a lasting mark. It used to get better after a few days, but these days, it feels like recovery is slow.
My irregular lifestyle seems to be a factor, and I'm also concerned about the recurring skin breakouts that occur with each seasonal change. Even though I haven't made any major changes to my cleansing routine or basic skincare routine, I keep getting breakouts around my chin and cheeks, which makes me think it's more than just a cosmetic issue.
So now, rather than just managing my skin at home, I'm wondering if it might be a good idea to get a consultation from a dermatologist. I'm also wondering what the best approach is for these recurring skin problems, and whether I should immediately consider treatment, or if it's better to start with a management-focused approach.
