How long does the effect of pore treatment usually last?

I am an office worker considering laser treatment because of my pores.
I did some research and found that while there may be individual differences, the duration of the pore treatment results varies greatly depending on post-treatment care. I am wondering if the effects typically last from 6 months to a year after completing one treatment cycle.
Since I am enduring the pain to get this treatment, I would feel disappointed if the effects of the pore treatment lasted too short. I would appreciate it if you could share a detailed review of when the effects noticeably begin to fade, and how you combined home care (such as regenerating cream and sunscreen) to maximize the duration of the results.
