What kind of skincare would be safe to get before a wedding photoshoot?

My wedding photoshoot is in a few months, so I think I should start taking care of my skin soon.

I have some blemishes and my skin texture isn't very smooth, so I'm worried about whether my makeup will apply well during the shoot.

I'm debating whether to get laser treatment or focus on moisturizing and soothing care. I'm worried that getting a strong procedure so close to the shoot would be awkward if my skin turned red. For those of you who have experience with pre-shoot skincare, what was the most helpful?
