Inquiry about melasma treatment

Lately, I can see melasma very clearly under my eyes and above my cheekbones.

I've been diligently applying sunscreen, and while it used to be covered by makeup, now it's on the verge of breaking through.

Aside from things I can do at home like sunscreen, eye cream, and face masks, I am wondering what I should do if I opt for a procedure, and since I work, I am curious if it will interfere with my daily life.
