Is there a way to check for yourself whether your skin is thin or thick?
I suddenly became really curious whether my skin is on the thin side or the thick side, lol. It just occurred to me while I was writing this. Since I heard that skincare routines, the speed of aging, and the pattern of sagging vary completely depending on skin thickness, I’m starting to want to know my skin type exactly.
I looked it up online, and it says that if blood vessels under your eyes are particularly visible or if your skin turns red easily from even slight irritation, there is a high probability that your skin is on the thinner side. It also says you can roughly estimate this by checking whether your cheeks feel thin or heavy and thick when you gently pinch them. Honestly, since I have nothing to compare my own face to, I can't really tell if it's thin or thick. While getting it measured at a professional facility would be the most accurate, is there a way I can reliably check this on my own at home?
