What are some good treatments to get at a dermatology clinic during the summer?
The weather is so hot these days that it's hard to take care of my skin condition. On top of that, I have to work overtime...
My skin is usually fine, but as soon as summer comes, it becomes oily, my pores look more prominent, and I frequently experience redness due to skin heat. In particular, breakouts occur even with just wearing a mask or doing a little outdoor activity, so I am considering getting a dermatological procedure.
However, since UV rays are strong and I sweat a lot in the summer, I was worried that highly stimulating procedures might just make my skin more sensitive. So, I am wondering what procedures require relatively minimal recovery and are suitable for summer care.
My current concerns are enlarged pores, skin texture, redness, and minor breakouts. My skin type is sensitive, leaning towards dehydrated oily skin. However, I have heard many people advise postponing dermatological procedures until winter because the irritation from UV rays and other factors is so severe during the summer. Please share your experiences regarding any procedures that were suitable for the summer, or conversely, any procedures that are best avoided during the hot season.
