What I’ve realized while taking care of my skin lately is that while products are important, consistency is ultimately the hardest part. In the past, I used to buy trendy products as soon as they came out and try all sorts of things, but there were many times when my skin just became more sensitive. Now, I am shifting my approach to keeping my routine as simple as possible and consistently using only the products that suit me well.
I've found that over-managing your skin, especially when it's in bad condition, often actually causes more irritation. I'm trying not to exfoliate too often, and on days when my skin is sensitive, I focus only on soothing and moisturizing. Lately, I've really been realizing how important it is to keep the skin comfortable.
Honestly, since skin doesn't improve overnight, I think I get more impatient. Still, if I take consistent care of it, I do feel like it is gradually stabilizing. What do you think is the most important part of skincare? It would be great to share your routines or care tips!
