Can I use home care beauty devices in conjunction with dermatology toning lasers?
I recently received a home beauty device focused on firming (with radio frequency and EMS functions) as a gift, and I have been using it consistently about three times a week. I am satisfied because I definitely feel like my skin texture is improving compared to not using it.
Lately, however, I feel like melasma and blemishes are starting to appear around my eyes, so I am planning to get Pico Toning or Laser Toning at a dermatology clinic. I have a question: Is it okay to continue using a home care device, wired or wireless, while I am receiving laser treatment at the clinic?
I’ve heard that laser treatment can temporarily make the skin sensitive and dry, so I’m worried that over-irritation might damage my skin barrier. Has anyone tried combining laser toning treatments with home care using a device? Please share any tips on how to safely adjust the treatment schedule.
