For those who have received Pico Toning, how long does the effect last?
My skin tone looks dull, and light freckles and blemishes keep catching my eye, so I am looking into skin treatments. A lot of people around me are recommending Pico Toning. I became interested because I’ve seen many comments saying it is less irritating than regular toning while still being effective for improving pigmentation. Since my skin is thin and sensitive, I was hesitant about strong lasers, but I am considering it more now after seeing reviews that say Pico Toning is relatively less burdensome.
But now that I've actually looked into it, I've heard that Pico Toning methods and equipment vary from clinic to clinic, so I'm really confused about what criteria to use when choosing one. Some people say their skin tone really cleared up after Pico Toning, while others say they didn't notice as much of a change as they expected, so I've become even more curious about actual reviews. In particular, since melasma is known to recur easily, I also want to know just how helpful Pico Toning actually is.
What I am most curious about is the duration of the results. How long does the feeling of clearer skin or faded blemishes typically last after Pico Toning? I am wondering if you can feel the difference after just one session, or if you need to receive multiple treatments consistently for the effects to last. Clinics usually recommend Pico Toning as a package, so I would also like to know why they recommend repeated treatments.
I am also curious if it is possible to resume daily activities immediately after the Pico Toning procedure. I would like to know if redness or heat sensations tend to linger, and when I can start wearing makeup. Looking at reviews, some people say they were fine on the same day, while others mention their skin becoming dry and sensitive, so it seems there is a significant difference from person to person. Since my skin tends to be sensitive, I am worried that the irritation might be severe after Pico Toning.
