Is it possible to treat chin acne with medication or procedures?
While the rest of my face is relatively clear, I keep recurring pustular acne along my jawline that feels hard and painful to the touch. Once it appears, it doesn't subside easily, and even when it does, it leaves long, red or dark scars, making the area around my jaw always look messy. I have tried applying Cica cream, which is said to be good for acne, and using extraction patches, but the relief was only temporary; the breakouts return immediately whenever my condition deteriorates even slightly. I feel that it is difficult to get rid of the problem on my jaw through self-care alone, so I would like to receive systematic treatment from a professional.
Please recommend a procedure or medication that is effective for treating recurrent acne confined to specific areas like mine, and for fundamentally destroying or controlling the sebaceous glands.
