Now that it's summer, the sebum on my nose and T-zone is exploding, and the blackheads are no joke.
I have combination skin that turns into an oil factory on my face every summer. Now that the weather is getting seriously hot, as soon as I put on makeup in the morning and step outside, my T-zone and butterfly zone become shiny and greasy. It’s not just an increase in oil; hard whiteheads have formed around my nose and under my chin, and they have all turned into blackheads, leaving dark specks.
When I squeezed it with my hands, my pores just widened as if they were gaping open, and the surrounding skin turned red, so now I'm too scared to even touch it. I've tried emulsifying with cleansing oil and using face masks regularly, but it feels like home care just can't keep up with the speed of sebum production during the summer.
Would getting an Aqua Peel or a sebum-controlling laser (like Capri or Neobeam) at a dermatology clinic definitely help? Or I heard Skin Botox is the surefire way to get rid of sebum; please give me some advice on which one would be right for me. I'm going crazy with stress over my nose every summer.
