Melasma and light blemishes that suddenly appeared, perhaps due to UV rays
It hasn't been long since I returned from my summer vacation, but I am writing this because I was shocked when I looked in the mirror and saw the area under my eyes and around my cheekbones. Even though I tried my best to apply sunscreen, it seems it didn't block all the strong sunlight. New freckles and dark spots have appeared, making my complexion look very dull and messy overall.
Perhaps because my skin tone is naturally on the lighter side, even the slightest pigmentation stands out so much that I just sigh every time I look in the mirror. I have been trying to apply whitening essences and vitamin products, but I’ve heard that existing pigmentation like melasma or dark spots absolutely cannot be removed with home care.
I am looking into whitening treatments like laser toning or Pico toning, but since pigmentation treatment is known to be a long-term process, I have no idea how long it will take or how much it will cost. I am wondering if pigmentation usually reappears due to UV rays if I start toning in the summer, or if it would be better to wait until autumn. Please share some genuine reviews from those who have seen results with laser treatments for blemishes!
