Summer skin concerns: I want to remove the scars and moles on the back of my hand.
Since I wear short sleeves and my hands are visible often these days, the scar and mole on the back of my hand are catching my eye especially.
I at least apply sunscreen and take care of my face, but I think I've always just neglected the backs of my hands. As a result, small, old scars are still there, and I have a few moles, so every time I look at them, I feel like I want to get them cleaned up.
Hands are actually quite visible, especially when meeting people or taking photos. I didn't used to pay much attention to them, but lately, the skin on the back of my hands seems to reveal my age, so I've become more interested in taking care of it. I think moles can be removed with a laser, but I was wondering if it is possible to consult about scar removal as well.
Has anyone by any chance had moles or scars removed from the back of their hands due to summer skin concerns? Since the back of the hands move frequently and comes into contact with water often, I am worried that recovery might take a long time. I would like to know if I need to keep the bandage on for a long time after the procedure and if it is okay to have it done in the summer. I think I will feel much better every time I look at my hands once they are neatly trimmed.
