I'm asking because I'm curious if the effects of melasma treatment tend to last a long time :)

I have been worried about my melasma for quite a while, and now I am thinking about getting proper treatment.

I have read a lot of reviews about melasma treatment online. While many people say they were satisfied after the treatment, there are also stories about it reappearing over time, so I am most curious about how long the results last.

If I start melasma treatment, I intend to manage it consistently, but I wanted to know how long the effects would last before I began.

For those of you who have received melasma treatment, did your skin condition last for a long time even after the treatment was finished? Or did it start bothering you again after a certain period?

I would also like to know if you received additional treatments for maintenance, or if regular sun protection and home care were sufficient.

I have often heard that consistent care is more important than short-term results when treating melasma. For those of you who have actually experienced this, what did you feel was the most important factor?

I'm curious about the maintenance methods of those who saw good results, and I'd also love to hear the experiences of those who found it harder to maintain than expected haha. Please leave a comment!
