Is melasma treatment a procedure that must be continued consistently once started?
I have barely taken care of my skin, but this year I am looking into various treatments with the intention of taking proper care of it.
Among them, melasma is what bothers me the most, so I have been looking into melasma treatments, but I have a question.
I would like to know if melasma treatment requires continued periodic care even after improvement, or if many people are satisfied with just a certain number of sessions.
When I search online, I find so many posts saying that consistency is important. However, I don't really get a sense of how many months that means, or if there are people who manage it for years.
For those of you who have received melasma treatment, how long did you receive care? I am curious whether you ended up receiving more sessions than initially planned, or if you became satisfied sooner than expected.
I would also like to hear about your experiences regarding whether you felt your skin gradually stabilizing while receiving melasma treatment, and whether there were any periods where the effects stalled.
Since I'm just starting out, I'm most curious about the realistic duration of the treatment haha. I would appreciate honest reviews from those who have actually received it!
