I'm curious who Pico Toning is recommended for. Is it suitable for middle school students with oily skin concerns?
I'm worried because my middle schooler has been getting too much sebum lately.
My forehead and the area around my nose get shiny very quickly, and it looks like sebum is building up. I've tried changing my facial cleanser, but I don't feel like it makes much of a difference. My acne isn't very severe yet, but I'm worried that if I leave it like this, it might lead to breakouts.
My skin tone is dull and I tend to have some blemishes, so while looking into Pico Toning, I became curious if there are cases where this kind of dermatological treatment is necessary for children's skin concerns as well. I have heard that Pico Toning is usually used for managing pigmentation or blemishes, but I am not sure if it is recommended for those with concerns about sebum or skin texture.
For those of you who have received Pico Toning, what concerns led you to start? I am curious whether Pico Toning is recommended for melasma, blemishes, and dull skin tone, or if it also helps to some extent with skin texture or sebum issues. I would also like to know if other treatments might be more suitable for a middle school student than Pico Toning.
I am considering getting a consultation, but since my child's skin concerns are different from mine, I am not sure how to approach the questions. If anyone has experience with Pico Toning, I would appreciate it if you could let me know who it is recommended for or what I should check during the consultation.
