What kind of treatment should I get for excess sebum and hard acne under my chin?
Hello. I am very concerned because my sebum production has gone absolutely crazy now that the weather is getting warmer. Even if I wash my face thoroughly in the morning before going out, my entire face becomes shiny and overflowing with oil after just a few hours. The problem is that hard, inflamed acne keeps popping up under my chin and on my cheeks—perhaps because the mixture of sweat and sebum is clogging my pores and hurting to the touch. It is red and swollen, and it doesn't calm down easily, so I get incredibly stressed every time I look in the mirror. Even though I am paying close attention to my cleansing routine and have completely switched to oil-free skincare, it feels like my sebum isn't being controlled at all. Are there any dermatological procedures or scaling treatments that can clear sebum from the pores and prevent breakouts from recurring when sebum production is this excessive?
