I'm curious about how to wash off sunscreen when my skin breaks out.

Sunscreen is essential because it is summer.
Unfortunately, my skin broke out at this time, so I was told by those around me to wash my face only with water to avoid irritation.

But if that is the case, I am really confused about how on earth I should wash my face in the evening after coming back from an outing where I applied sunscreen.

I've heard that if you wash your face with only water, the chemical ingredients or oil from sunscreen remain on your face, actually making your acne worse. Is that true?

In this case, I am wondering if I should gently wash my face with a mild, slightly acidic cleanser or a gel-type product instead of a cleansing foam with too much cleansing power, or if it is correct to just lightly wash my face with a cleansing foam for the first step.

Nevertheless, whether I should double cleanse or finish with a light single wash,

I would appreciate it if you could also share some tips on how to minimize skin irritation when washing my face.
