Can sebum make pores and skin tone look worse?

I am writing to inquire because the increased sebum around my nose seems to be making not only my pores but also my overall facial skin tone look duller. As you can see in the attached photo, my nose and butterfly zone are filled with sebum and have prominent pores, while my cheeks appear dark and rough.

I am wondering if oxidized sebum or deep-looking pores can make the overall skin tone look dull.

On the other hand, my cheeks look dull even though they aren't very oily, so I don't think simply solving the sebum issue will make my skin even. If I cleanse and remove sebum aggressively, my skin looks clean for a while, but it dries out and turns red, and I actually feel like my skin tone becomes even more uneven.

In such cases, should I check sebum, pores, pigmentation, or redness separately?

I would also like to know if we can discuss the causes of the problem and determine management priorities through a consultation. Rather than receiving various unnecessary treatments, I would like to start by managing what my skin truly needs right now.
