Can corns also become habitual?

Once a corn appears, does it repeat like a habit?
I got a corn a while ago, and it hurts a little on the other side, as if another one is about to form.
I'm not sure if it's a corn yet, but I've heard that warts can appear frequently once they develop, perhaps because they are contagious.
I wonder if corns are like that too.
