My skin has become very dry and sensitive as the weather gets colder.
With the weather suddenly turning cold and the wind getting chilly lately, I feel like my skin condition has suddenly worsened. It has always been on the dry side, but recently, my face feels tight immediately after washing, and white flakes of dead skin have even started appearing on my cheeks and around my mouth.
I am most concerned about it, especially when applying makeup in the morning. Even if I apply plenty of base makeup, my cheeks tend to look cakey, and by the afternoon, my skin looks dry and dull, making me feel like my overall condition is poor.
Even though I apply more moisturizer than usual at home and try to avoid harsh exfoliation as much as possible, my skin seems to dry out faster than I expected. I've even tried using a humidifier, but the tightness deep within my skin isn't going away easily.
What kind of care at a dermatology clinic would be helpful for this late autumn dryness? I am curious whether simple hydration or soothing treatments are sufficient, or if it would be better to receive treatments like skin boosters or LDM in conjunction. I would appreciate recommendations for treatments that are gentle on sensitive skin.
