What kind of dermatological procedure should I get for unevenness under my eyes?
I am writing to ask for advice because I have been increasingly concerned about the skin under my eyes lately. It actually looks more noticeable when I wear makeup, and if I look closely, there are several small, bumpy spots that resemble granules. Even when I touch it, the surface feels uneven and rough. At first, I thought it might be milia, so I moisturized thoroughly and tried exfoliating, but there hasn't been any significant change.
Are unevenness under the eyes often caused by skin conditions such as milia or syringomas? I am curious if the treatment method varies depending on the cause, even though they may look similar on the surface. I am particularly concerned about whether it is safe to receive laser treatment, as the skin around the eyes is thin and sensitive.
I would like to know how unevenness under the eyes is typically removed or improved, and whether it can sometimes be resolved with a single procedure. I am also concerned about the possibility of recurrence, as well as scarring and hyperpigmentation after the procedure. I would appreciate it if the relevant personnel could explain what tests the hospital uses to identify the cause and determine the course of treatment.
