Has anyone actually seen results from reducing pores?

These days, whenever I put on makeup, my pores are so noticeable. So, I've been researching ways to minimize them and trying various methods. I've tried everything from cold compresses to exfoliation and even moisturizers, but it's not as easy as I thought. The pores around my nose, in particular, seem to get bigger again no matter how much I try. I'm considering dermatological treatments, but if you know of any consistent pore-reducing methods I can do at home, please share them with me. If you have any home care methods that have proven effective, please let me know!
