As puberty began, acne started appearing one by one on the forehead and cheeks, but recently, the number has increased and it seems to be turning red and inflamed, which worries me. My child also seems to be very self-conscious whenever looking in the mirror, and their confidence appears to be dropping.
Rather than blindly using acne products, I want to manage it according to the cause. How is it generally best to manage adolescent acne? I am also curious whether it is advisable to seek dermatological treatment or if there are care methods I can do at home.
Also, please let me know if there are any actually helpful methods, such as face washing frequency, moisturizer use, or dietary management. I would appreciate advice from those who have experience managing acne in adolescent children.
