Will laser treatment be effective for pitted acne scars as well?

I have had really severe acne since my school days. Because I didn't manage it properly back then and just squeezed the pimples with my hands, I am left with very deep, pitted scars all over my cheeks. As you can see in the photo, even applying thick makeup causes them to crease and won't cover up, so I get incredibly stressed every time I look in the mirror. Perhaps because my skin elasticity is decreasing as I get older, the pores seem to be becoming more prominent and wider, so I plan to sign up for a dermatology package to start proper treatment before it's too late.

I'm actually thinking of visiting a dermatologist near my house... I'm really curious if combination skin like mine, which has both redness and scars/pores, can see some plumping effects from treatments like Fraxel, PicoFraxel, or Potenza.

I’ve heard so many times that scar treatment is very painful and significantly disrupts daily life, so I’m hesitant to just pay for it. I’d like to hear some advice on whether anyone with a similar skin type saw their skin texture become much smoother after consistently receiving scar laser treatments, and how many sessions are usually needed to see noticeable results...
