During my school years, I suffered from severe pustular acne. Because I aggressively squeezed and picked at the scars with my hands, I was left with deep, pitted and boxcar-shaped scars on both cheeks and around my temples, looking as if I had been pricked with an ice pick. Since my skin surface is rougher than an orange peel, applying a thick layer of foundation to cover it up actually makes the pitted marks stand out more, causing me to feel increasingly self-conscious in social situations. I am well aware that it is difficult to achieve perfect results in a short period, but I am wondering if I could see the effects of smoothing scar edges and promoting new skin growth by undergoing combination scar regeneration laser treatments, such as Fraxel or Erbium YAG, offered at Maypure.
