Hello. I am an office worker in my late 20s who has struggled with acne since high school and has tried every possible procedure. Extractions and scaling only provide temporary relief while I am receiving them, but after undergoing excessive laser treatments, my skin barrier has completely collapsed, causing my face to break out at the slightest irritation.
I think I need to take a sebum regulator to get rid of the problem completely. Would there be any side effects if I took the medication and simultaneously received a skin booster (like Vitaran) to rebuild my compromised skin barrier? I want to reduce sebum while addressing inner dryness and replenishing the barrier, so I’d like to hear your opinion on whether my approach is correct.
