I'm diligently taking care of my pores, but why are they still so noticeable? ㅠㅠ
I am writing this post because I have so many skin concerns lately. I used to think that I only needed to worry about breakouts, but as I get older, I find myself more concerned about my pores. It is particularly stressful because my pores are much more visible than I expected when I look in the mirror, especially on days when I am not wearing makeup or under bright lighting.
So, I’m diligently taking care of my pores in my own way. I cleanse thoroughly and never skip applying moisturizer. I also exfoliate once or twice a week, but I haven't really seen the changes I was hoping for.
Actually, it’s a bit frustrating because even though it’s been a few months since I started pore care, my pores seem to be exactly the same haha. Of course, my skin texture does seem to have gotten a little smoother, but I don't feel like there has been much change in my pores, which are my biggest concern.
I did some research and found that pores are influenced by genetics and are also related to sebum production and skin elasticity. So, I am wondering if this is a problem that can be solved simply by using pore care products.
Also, some people say that over-cleansing for pore care can actually make the skin drier and increase sebum production, so I am curious if that is true. I am worried that I might be managing my skin incorrectly.
If anyone has struggled with enlarged pores like me and found results, please let me know which pore care method was the most helpful. Whether it's products, lifestyle habits, or even small tips, they would be incredibly helpful. How do you all take care of your pores?
