They say hydration is important for pore care. Is it really effective?

I've been really worried about my pores lately, so I've been looking up a lot of information. Interestingly, whenever I read posts about pore care, the topic of hydration is always mentioned.

At first, I thought that pore care was all about removing sebum or cleansing thoroughly, but I’ve seen a lot of posts saying that, surprisingly, pores can look more prominent if the skin lacks moisture. So lately, I’ve been getting interested in hydration management as well.

I naturally assumed I had oily skin, so I didn't apply many moisturizing products. I only used a light routine because I was worried it might look greasy, but I wonder if this habit was actually not good for pore care.

I am curious to know if anyone has actually seen their skin condition improve after switching to moisturizing products or paying more attention to hydration while focusing on pore care. I would love to hear about any experiences where skin texture improved or pores appeared less noticeable.

I'm also curious if there are any products, such as moisturizing creams or ampoules, that you were highly satisfied with. I'd like to hear opinions from people who have actually used them, not just advertisements.

When doing pore care, I tend to focus only on reducing sebum, but I realized that hydration might actually be more important. What do you consider most important when doing pore care? Please share your experiences.
