My skin has been breaking out worse than ever lately, so I'm posting this just grasping at straws.
My skin wasn't originally bad, but a few months ago, tiny bumps started appearing around my mouth, jawline, and even along my neck. At first, I thought my skincare routine wasn't working, so I completely switched to non-comedogenic products and changed my pillowcase every day. However, it has now progressed beyond just small bumps into hard, painful cystic acne, to the point where it throbs even if I frown just a little.
Every time I go to the dermatologist, I only get anti-inflammatory injections and extractions as a temporary fix, but it only subsides for a short while. It’s driving me crazy because new breakouts appear right next to the original spots after just a week. Now, it seems my skin barrier has completely collapsed due to the repeated inflammation; my skin is extremely dry from the inside, and the redness on my face just won't go away.
I feel like I can't go on like this, so I'm planning to get a treatment that addresses the root cause rather than just managing it. I've seen in online communities that treatments like the Capri Laser are good for sebum control; has anyone tried this? Or would it be better to start with a barrier regeneration treatment like the LDM Waterdrop Lift to soothe my skin first?
I am attaching this for your reference regarding skin condition.
