Just when one pimple disappears, another one pops up... Has anyone broken free from this cycle?
I used to think that even if I got acne, it would go away after a few days, but now I feel like I've become so used to a life where one pimple appears as soon as another one comes up...
The really strange thing is that there are hardly any days when my skin is completely clear. When the current acne subsides, it leaves marks, and just as those marks start to fade a little, new breakouts appear. Because of this, my skin always looks red and blotchy, so I'm not satisfied even when I wear makeup.
I used to be the type who didn't pay much attention to my skin, but these days I find myself spending a long time looking in the mirror before going out. I've also become conscious of other people's stares for no reason, and I find myself gradually avoiding having my picture taken, haha.
Lately, I have been trying hard to change my lifestyle habits. I am cutting down on late-night snacks, drinking water frequently, and trying to break the habit of staying up late, but I haven't noticed any dramatic changes yet. So, I wonder if there is something I might be missing in my routine.
When I look online, some people say extraction is good, others say not to touch it, some say to moisturize a lot, and others say to reduce it... There is so much information that it actually makes me more confused.
If there are any of you who, like me, have struggled with recurring acne for years, I am really curious to know at what point your skin started to change. I would like to hear if dermatological treatment was the decisive turning point, or if it improved through consistent care at home.
I think real personal experiences would be the most helpful, rather than advertisements haha. Please share as much as you can, even small tips!! I'm also planning not to give up and to try managing it again.
