My skin stays the same no matter how much money I spend, so why is acne so persistent...
To be completely honest, I think I've spent quite a bit of money on my skin so far... haha. I've switched between several highly-rated basic skincare products, tried soothing creams, and bought a lot of cosmetics said to be good for acne, but ultimately, my skin hasn't changed much.
At first, I thought things would get better as long as the product suited me. So I searched through tons of reviews and compared ingredients before buying, but while it was fine for the first few days, it just went back to how it was before. Every time that happened, I felt upset, like I had just wasted my money.
It is especially frustrating because acne doesn't just appear in one spot but seems to keep moving around. This week, if my forehead is okay, breakouts appear on my chin, and if my chin calms down, they pop up on my cheeks... I don't know why maintaining clear skin is so difficult.
People around me are telling me to go to a dermatologist right away, but on the other hand, there are also those who say their condition improved by managing it on their own, so I can't easily make a decision. If I start seeing a dermatologist, I don't really know what treatment to get first, and I'm getting scared for no reason.
Have you ever tried everything for acne and finally seen results from a method? It doesn't necessarily have to be a product, haha. I'm curious if lifestyle habits like diet, exercise, and sleep actually help.
Now, I trust real-life experiences more than promotional reviews. If anyone has had similar concerns, I would be really grateful if you could share what led to your skin improvement.
