I have recurring acne on my chin, so I am asking for advice on skincare.
I am writing to ask for advice because I have been getting recurring acne on my chin lately. In the past, I would only get one or two pimples when I was tired or not feeling well, but recently, acne keeps appearing in similar spots around my jawline. Even when it subsides, it leaves behind red marks, which is causing me a lot of stress.
I am planning to attach a close-up photo of my chin acne, but looking at the picture, there is a mix of inflamed areas and marks, so I am not sure what kind of treatment I should get first.
At home, I cleanse thoroughly and try applying soothing cream, but while it seems to improve for a while, the breakouts reappear after a few days. In this case, I am wondering whether extraction should come first or if I should start with soothing care. Would receiving regular acne treatments be helpful for skin prone to recurring chin acne? I am concerned about overly harsh treatments, so I would like to receive advice on how to get started.
