I am writing to inquire because the acne on my chin seems to have suddenly worsened. My skin wasn't exactly clear to begin with, but I rarely had multiple breakouts appearing around my chin at the same time like I have recently.
I am really bothered by red bumps that have appeared, especially on the tip of my chin and jawline, and they hurt a little to the touch. I took a close-up photo to attach, and you can see the red bumps along with small, millet-like blemishes.
In this case, would it be appropriate to seek a consultation regarding acne skin care? I am not sure if extraction is necessary or if I need to soothe my skin first because it has become sensitive.
I haven't been getting enough sleep lately and I wear a mask frequently. Could these lifestyle habits be worsening my chin acne? I am wondering if you determine the management plan based on the condition of my current acne during my first visit.
