I'm asking because I'm wondering if I need to have my acne extracted. When I take a picture, I see white bumps as well as pimples that just look red and swollen. I try my best not to touch them because I'm afraid they'll leave marks, but it's hard to resist because it bothers me every time I look in the mirror haha.

I am concerned that squeezing them at home might make them worse, so I would like to receive proper treatment. However, I am writing to inquire because I heard that not all acne requires extraction.

In acne skincare, do you differentiate between areas that can be extracted and those that need soothing first? My skin tends to redden easily, so I am worried that marks might remain for a long time after extraction.
