Hello. For the past few months, I have been stressed because I have developed a lot of bumpy, rough patches around my forehead and cheeks that feel gritty to the touch. On the surface, they don't look red or large like pustules, but when viewed under lighting or up close in the mirror, the fine bumps are unbelievable. They really stand out when I apply foundation in the morning, making my skin look much messier. I have tried applying plenty of moisturizer and exfoliating regularly, but they show no signs of subsiding at all. In fact, touching them with my hands only left red marks. Is getting regular extractions and scaling at a dermatologist the answer? Or am I debating whether I should get a sebum-controlling laser or treatments like Agnes? If anyone has had bumpy whiteheads or uneven skin all over their face like me and then successfully achieved smooth skin, please let me know if there are any treatments or skincare routines that worked for you!
