I'm really curious about reviews of acne treatments!

I'm so stressed because I've suddenly been getting a lot of acne on my face lately.
I used to get a few on my chin or forehead from time to time, but this time they’ve spread to my cheeks in a bumpy way, so they don’t cover up well even with makeup. Every time I look in the mirror, I feel the urge to touch them, and even though I know I shouldn't, it keeps bothering me.

So lately I've been searching a lot for reviews on acne treatments, but I'm curious to hear from people who have actually received them, not just promotional posts. I'm not sure if acne treatment involves extraction, or if it includes medication prescriptions and aftercare. I'm also curious about how the process works when you visit a dermatologist for the first time.

If anyone has received acne treatment, please share your experience! I'm curious if you felt immediate improvement after the treatment, or if it takes several sessions for the acne to gradually subside. I have both red acne and small bumps, so I'm not sure which treatment would be right for me. Since this is my first time getting acne treatment, I'm feeling a bit nervous, so I'd love to hear the experiences of those who have actually gone through it!
