Will acne treatment also help with concerns about pores and sebum?
I am writing to ask if acne treatment helps with concerns regarding pores and sebum. I don't tend to get severe breakouts all over my face, but sebum tends to build up around my nose and cheeks, and as small blemishes recur, my pores seem to be becoming more noticeable.
Even if I wash my face thoroughly, it looks clean for a while, but it becomes oily again over time, and when I apply makeup, the base gets stuck in my pores, making my skin texture look even messier. Would it be okay to try acne treatment in this case?
When I think of acne treatment, I only consider managing current breakouts to calm them down, but I am wondering if there are methods that also address sebum and clogged pores. If I receive consistent acne treatment, can I expect fewer new breakouts and my pores to appear less prominent? My skin tends to be dry and sensitive, so I am a bit worried about harsh extractions or exfoliation.
