How many sessions is recommended for acne treatment to manage pores as well?
I am writing to inquire about the recommended number of acne treatments. My skin does not tend to have recurring large, cystic acne breakouts, but I experience recurring small blemishes and excess sebum, which makes my skin bumpy and my pores appear enlarged.
I've been trying to manage my skin at home using a mild cleanser and soothing products, but even though it seems to get better for a while, whenever my condition drops, sebum builds up again and breakouts flare up.
In this case, how many acne treatment sessions would I need to expect my skin to feel stable?
I am also curious if the recommended number of acne treatments varies depending on whether the goal is to simply soothe current acne or to manage pores and sebum simultaneously.
When starting acne treatment, could I try it once to check my skin's reaction and then determine the number of sessions? Rather than treating it too aggressively, I am aiming for skin that is less rough and makeup creasing to be reduced.
