How do I manage acne treatment cycles and pore concerns?
I am writing to inquire about the treatment cycle for acne. Currently, my acne is not severely inflamed, but sebum accumulates easily, and small breakouts recur, causing the pores around my nose and cheeks to remain constantly noticeable.
I think it is necessary to consistently stabilize my skin condition rather than just getting it done once, but I am not sure what the appropriate interval is.
I'm curious if acne treatment is usually received at weekly intervals, or if the interval is set to two weeks or longer if the skin is sensitive. Is the treatment cycle determined differently depending on the number of current breakouts, sebum production, and the condition of the skin barrier?
Also, how many acne treatment sessions would I need to see changes where sebum buildup is reduced and my pores look a bit more refined? My skin feels tight after washing but becomes oily over time, so I'm worried that managing sebum too frequently might make it severely dry.
