I keep getting recurring adult acne. For those of you who have received skin care, what kind of changes did you see? Haha.
I never really got stressed about my skin when I was a student, but strangely enough, ever since becoming an adult, I keep getting recurring acne.
It keeps popping up, especially around my chin and mouth; just when it seems to be fading, it reappears, and the red marks linger for a long time. Lately, I often feel like my skin isn't what it used to be. When I take photos, my skin is the first thing I notice, and I find myself self-conscious about it when meeting people.
At first, I thought it would get better over time, so I only took care of it at home. I paid attention to my cleansing routine, changed my moisturizer, and tried to get a little more sleep, but honestly, there were no noticeable changes.
So I'm thinking about getting some acne treatment this time, but when I actually looked into it, there were so many types of treatments that I didn't know which one to choose haha.
Looking at the reviews, some people say their skin has improved a lot, while others say they need consistent care to see results, so I am really curious about actual experiences.
For those of you who have received skin care for adult acne, how many sessions did it take to notice changes? I'm curious whether the new breakouts decreased first, or if the red marks faded first.
Also, I’ve heard that daily lifestyle habits are really important for acne-prone skin, so I’d like to know if you changed your diet or sleep habits along with your skincare routine. I’ve seen many stories about how cutting down on coffee and late-night snacks definitely improved the condition, so I’m curious if it actually helps.
I would also like to hear if your skin tends to become very red or sensitive immediately after the treatment, and if you had any trouble going to work or going out the very next day.
Rather than aiming for perfectly clear skin, I think I would be satisfied if the acne that keeps recurring like this just decreased a little bit haha. If anyone has received skin care for similar concerns, please let me know which treatment you were most satisfied with and whether you would choose the same treatment again!!
I'm leaving this post because I think actual experiences from people who have tried it would be the most helpful, rather than promotional reviews. Please leave lots of comments! ^^
