My acne has improved a lot, but why doesn't my skin look clear?
It seems like my acne has decreased a lot compared to before, but strangely, I don't feel like my skin has improved at all. On the contrary, when I look in the mirror, there are still red marks and the texture isn't smooth, so it feels like my skin still looks bad.
So now, I’ve come to think that I want to take care of my entire skin, not just stop getting acne haha.
I've looked into it and found that acne skin care varies from person to person. I'm curious to know what kind of treatments you've received, especially since you, like me, are more concerned about marks or skin texture than the breakouts you currently have.
If anyone has consistently received treatment for acne-prone skin, did you continue receiving care even after your acne subsided? Or, I would also like to know if it was possible to maintain your condition with home care alone once it had improved to a certain extent.
Also, I've heard many people say their skin texture improved while receiving acne treatments, so I'm curious if it actually felt softer to the touch.
Lately, my skin looks generally dull and lifeless, so I would like this aspect to improve as well.
I'm worried that I might be starting skincare late, so I want to hear your experiences before making a decision. If anyone has received acne treatment, please let me know what you were most satisfied with, and conversely, if there were any aspects you found lacking!! Thank you :)
