My skin is on the sensitive side, so I'm wondering if I can also get acne treatment.
My skin is usually on the dry side, so I thought I would never get acne, but at some point, I started getting constant breakouts on my chin and cheeks.
The strange thing is that my skin still feels dry, but the acne keeps breaking out. If I apply a lot of moisturizer, it feels stuffy, but if I don't, my skin feels tight, so I really don't know how to manage it.
I've tried switching between a lot of different cosmetics, and while it seemed okay for the first few days, it always ended up going back to how it used to be. So now, instead of trying to solve it on my own, I think it might be better to get professional acne treatment.
However, one thing I am worried about is that my skin is quite sensitive, so I wonder if it might get more irritated after the treatment.
Has anyone with sensitive skin like mine ever received acne treatment? I am curious whether the intensity is adjusted based on the skin condition during the initial consultation, or if the process is generally similar across most places.
I would also like to know if you experienced any tightness or prolonged redness while receiving the treatment, and how long the recovery took.
I am curious to know if you felt your skin became a little more comfortable after receiving acne treatment, or if you realized that home care was more important than you thought.
If anyone has started skincare with similar concerns, I would be really grateful if you could share the details of how your skin improved. I'll be waiting to hear your experiences!
