I'm scared that acne extraction will be too painful. How painful is it actually? lol

I'm someone who got scared immediately after watching a video about extractions while looking for a dermatologist lol.

I'm not very good at tolerating pain, and I really hate the feeling of squeezing things on my face, so I keep putting off acne treatment.

However, I thought it would be better to get proper care rather than trying to handle it on my own at home, so I am now planning to at least get a consultation.

My skin has a lot of small, bumpy textures on my forehead, and I tend to get red rashes on my chin occasionally.

My forehead, in particular, feels bumpy to the touch, so it bothers me so much every time I do my makeup haha.

When receiving acne treatment, do you tend to extract a lot of these small bumps as well?

And I'm really curious if the extraction pain is bearable or if it's really enough to make you cry lol

I understand it may vary from person to person, but I would like to know if there are differences in pain depending on the area, such as around the nose or the forehead.

Is there a separate process to soften or prepare the skin before extraction when receiving acne treatment?

I'm also curious if it might hurt a little less if I do that.

I'm worried about the pain, but I'm also worried that my face will turn red after the extraction and be very noticeable for a few days.

I'd also like to hear your actual experience on whether your acne tends to calm down by Monday if you get treatment on Friday evening and rest over the weekend.

I am also wondering if there is a period where a scab forms at the extraction site or if makeup does not apply well.

Is there anyone here who was scared of extractions at first, but felt they were more manageable than expected after getting them done a few times? Haha.
