Can people with sensitive and dry skin receive acne treatment?
My skin is really a bit ambiguous, haha.
My skin isn't shiny or completely dry, but if I use even slightly irritating products, it immediately stings and turns red.
But strangely enough, I keep getting acne on my chin and under my cheeks.
My skin is dry, so if I moisturize too much, it feels like I get breakouts, but if I apply a light touch, my face feels tight, so I don't know what to do lol.
This condition has been repeating for several years, so I feel like managing it on my own has reached its limit, and I am looking into acne treatments.
However, my skin is sensitive, so I am worried that my face might get redder or drier if I receive acne treatment.
Can people with sensitive skin also receive acne treatment while adjusting the intensity based on their current condition?
I prefer gradual improvement within my skin's limits, rather than managing it too aggressively.
Is there anyone here who, like me, feels like they have a weak skin barrier and their skin turns red easily, and has received acne treatment?
When I first consult with you, wouldn't it be a good idea to explain in detail that sometimes my skin stings even when I just apply cosmetics?
I'm curious if there are days when you skip things like extraction or exfoliation depending on your skin condition haha.
And for those of you whose faces became very dry after acne treatment, how did you manage them?
I want to know if it will get better if I moisturize sufficiently, or if I need to be careful with washing my face or applying makeup for a few days.
Since I have to wear makeup on weekdays for work, I think I need to schedule the appointment carefully if the treatment takes a long time to recover.
I don't want to give up on acne treatment entirely just because I have sensitive skin, but I'm wondering if there is a safe way to receive it.
If anyone with a similar skin type has tried this consistently, please honestly let me know about any side effects or skin reactions haha.
Please share your experience if there are any specific areas you had to pay particular attention to when dealing with sensitive skin.
