I'm curious how much acne can be covered with makeup after treatment, haha.
I want to start acne treatment, but I keep putting it off because of work.
I tend to meet a lot of people at work, so I wear makeup almost every weekday. It’s fine if my skin is a little red, but I think I would be secretly bothered if there were a lot of visible extraction marks or scabs haha.
Right now, my skin has a few inflammatory pimples popping up on my chin and cheeks, and I also have small bumps on my forehead.
In the past, I managed it at home thinking it would be fine if I just soothed it over the weekend, but since it keeps recurring in the same spot, I plan to get proper acne treatment this time.
For those of you who have received acne treatment while working, on what day of the week did you usually get it?
I'm wondering if I can cover it up with makeup by the time I go to work on Monday if I get it on Friday evening and rest for two days, Saturday and Sunday.
I would also like to know if my face turns red all over immediately after acne treatment, or if only the extracted areas remain as red spots.
I am also curious if it was okay to use cushion or foundation the very next day after the procedure.
I don't like applying thick makeup, so I'm worried that if there are a lot of marks, it will actually be more noticeable.
I assume the recovery period varies depending on the type of acne treatment. Would it be okay if I mentioned during the consultation that I prefer a treatment with a short downtime due to my work schedule?
I'm also wondering if I need to wash my face or use different skincare products than usual on days I get treatments.
I would also like to know if the redness becomes less noticeable after repeating acne treatment a few times compared to the first time.
If anyone has consistently received acne treatment while working, please let me know how many days the results actually lasted haha.
