For melasma that deepens on the cheeks and cheekbones in late autumn, is it possible to combine a Pico Toning consultation with a Vitamin C serum?[4]
CommentsIt must be really bothersome to see dark spots on your cheekbones deepen in the fall as pigmentation from summer UV rays surfaces. While Vitamin C serum helps with whitening, its acidity can make your skin sensitive for about 2-3 days right before or after laser treatment, so I recommend taking a break and focusing on applying gentle moisturizing and soothing creams. Pico Toning is usually done consistently every 1-2 weeks to improve tone, but if you tell them your current home care routine during your consultation, they will safely adjust it to suit your skin thickness. :)

If I get laser treatment for blemishes while going to school, how long do the scabs or redness last?[4]
CommentsFirst off, I would like to say that it is truly impressive that you are managing to schedule your procedure while going to work. I fully understand your concerns, as I have heard that pigmentation often flares up after pregnancy. Since scabbing occurs depending on the type of laser and recovery periods vary, I suggest asking during your consultation if scheduling the procedure on Friday for the skin to subside over the weekend works for you, and when you can start wearing makeup. Because the reaction to melasma can vary, scheduling the treatments in separate sessions rather than doing everything at once might be a good approach. I wish you a speedy recovery and hope for great results!

I am concerned about moles, enlarged pores, and redness around my nose. What kind of treatment would be best?[3]
CommentsIt is very common for the area around the nose to experience severe pores and redness due to excessive sebum production. Moles are often cleanly removed using removal lasers like the Capri Laser, depending on their size and depth, while lasers such as Quadsay or PicoFraxel are known to be helpful for pores and sebum. Since lasers for redness and blood vessels require different treatments, I recommend determining priorities during a consultation rather than attempting everything at once. I remember that when I received mole removal and redness care together, the procedure was performed in a specific order and intensity, resulting in less irritation. If you share photos of the mole area and describe your usual sebum levels during your consultation, they will be able to determine the best treatment combination for you!

During the Maypure blemish laser consultation, is it possible to choose to check the response starting with a small area?[14]
CommentsI think it would be less of a burden if I could start with a small scope. That is a good question.

Would it be okay to decide on a one-time basis after the melasma consultation? I would like to know the number of sessions and the cost.[11]
CommentsI understand your desire to make a decision after understanding the frequency and costs. Could I also receive written guidance on the settlement criteria if I change the plan midway?

Small, dot-like brown spots have increased next to my nostrils. How can I distinguish them during a laser consultation?[9]
CommentsEven for a small brown area next to the nose, it is difficult to distinguish between a mole, freckle, or other pigmentation based solely on a photo, so please get a medical examination first. Providing information on when the spots increased, previous photos, and the products you used will be helpful for the consultation. For areas prone to redness, it would be beneficial to check not only the type of pigmentation but also the current state of irritation, and to receive guidance on criteria for postponing laser treatments and moisturizing methods.

How often do I usually get Pico Toning treatments?[11]
CommentsI heard that the interval for Pico Toning is determined differently depending on your skin condition and the type of pigmentation. If you are worried about getting treatments too frequently, ask them to set the interval based on your skin type during the consultation, and also inquire at which session you want to check your progress. They say it is really important to be meticulous about sun protection after the procedure!
