I'm wondering if it's okay to use cleansing oil when washing my face after laser treatment.
I am scheduled to get a laser treatment in the evening, and I am wondering how I should wash my face when I get home.
I usually wear makeup almost every day, so I tend to remove it with cleansing oil first and then use a facial cleanser.
But since my skin will be more sensitive than usual after getting a laser treatment, I'm a little worried if it's okay to rub oil on my skin for a long time like a massage.
Would it be better to go with as light makeup as possible that day?
Or I'm wondering if it might be more convenient to clean it thoroughly beforehand and then get the procedure done at the hospital.
Do many people stop at just washing their face briefly with lukewarm water on the evening of the day they receive laser treatment?
I actually have a habit of washing my face too thoroughly because I feel uneasy if I don't wash it properly haha.
I think I need to start by cutting down on those habits after getting the laser treatment.
I am also curious if it is more comfortable to keep the routine simple and focus on moisturizing after washing your face, rather than applying all the multi-step skincare products you usually use.
Is there anyone who changes their cleansing routine every time they get laser treatment?
I also want to know if I only need to be careful on the first day, or if I should wash my face gently for a few days.
I'm the type of person who worries about unnecessarily irritating my skin with cleansing rather than skincare, haha. Please let me know how you actually did it!
